The Ministry Project: Smart Document Finder is a platform designed to make government documents more accessible and transparent for journalists and civilians. It features an intuitive interface with six key tabs, allowing users to efficiently search, filter, and explore government-related information. One of its standout features is the ability to choose between a summarized version of a document or the raw data, catering to different user needs. As the UX designer on this project, I focused on creating a seamless user experience that balances functionality with clarity. This project showcases my ability to design for transparency, usability, and information accessibility in a complex data environment.

Minor in Innovative Data Visualization

As part of a school project, I worked on reimagining Loods M, an old warehouse in Maassluis, into a hybrid learning space. Our concept combined physical and digital elements, with cozy work areas, interactive screens, and a central design inspired by steampunk and nature. The goal was to create a space that encourages collaboration, creativity, and community.

For this project, I created an interactive sunflower using an Arduino Uno, proximity sensor, and light sensor. The plant responds to human interaction with playful sounds triggered in FL Studio, angry R2D2-style noises when someone gets too close, and melodic tones when exposed to bright light. The goal was to explore emotional interaction between humans and everyday objects through sound and sensor-based feedback.
